Florit Legal commences with exclusive sole in-house counsel retainer for ASK4
High-speed broadband and data services provider ASK4 has retained Florit Legal exclusively in the pursuit of its first external appointment of a sole in-house counsel.
The company was founded in Sheffield in 2000 by CEO Jonathan Burrows and currently serves over 160,000 customers across more than 400 sites in the UK and Europe and recently concluded a buy-out with private equity firm Bowmark Capital.
ASK4 has an ambition to double its turnover to £30m over the next five years through its activities partnering with higher education establishments, private sector student accommodation providers, and residential development companies and business, to provide managed data and high speed internet services for the benefit of people living in multi-tenanted accommodation.
Bowmark help to accelerate the roll-out of new products and services, as well as recruit and train additional staff, as part of ambitious expansion plans to further build on growth which CEO, Jonathan Burrows describes as having been led by “delivering exceptional customer service and investing in strong long-term partnerships”.
The company’s growth plans extend beyond the UK into Europe, through a mix of organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
ASK4 has a five-strong management team led by its founder, Jonathan Burrows, who started the company 18 years ago.
The role is a sole in-house legal counsel position, based at ASK4’s UK headquarters in Sheffield and the appointee will have responsibility for supporting the management team in the company’s ongoing delivery of services to over 160,000 customers at 400+ sites across Europe.
