Polypipe Expands its Legal and Company Secretarial Function

Polypipe has exclusively retained Florit Legal to recruit an additional lawyer

Yorkshire-based Polypipe Group plc is expanding its legal and company secretarial function in Doncaster by hiring an additional lawyer.

Based in Doncaster, the role reports to the Group’s Legal Counsel and Company Secretary and will appeal to individuals with a range of different experiences and backgrounds. These include commercial contracts, corporate finance, M&A, company secretarial or commercial litigation.

The ideal candidate will have had a well-supervised legal training from a respected commercial law firm or a busy in-house legal department, and be committed to a change of direction as an in-house lawyer with additional learning and development opportunities in the company secretarial sphere. Polypipe offers good long-term career development potential. 

Responsibilities will cover a number of legal, commercial and corporate governance matters in what is a rapidly growing and fast-moving organisation. 


Polypipe is a leading provider of sustainable water and climate management solutions for the built environment, is the largest manufacturer in the UK, and among the ten largest manufacturers in Europe, of plastic piping systems for the residential, commercial, civils and infrastructure sectors by revenue. It is also a leading designer and manufacturer of energy efficient ventilation systems in the UK.

The Polypipe Group operates from 20 facilities in total, and with over 20,000 product lines, manufactures the UK’s widest range of plastic piping systems for heating, plumbing, drainage and ventilation. It primarily targets the UK and European building and construction markets with a presence in Italy, the Netherlands and the Middle East and sales to specific niches in the rest of the world.

Founded in 1980, Polypipe listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2014 and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
